The Klemetsens belong to the Roma people, which is expressed not least in their great musicality. But not only does being culturally different make them outsiders in the Norwegian boxing scene. "Big John" Klemetsen has been coaching his son since childhood, with only one aim in mind: to make his son a professional boxing champion. Of course, most people shake their heads when they hear of the ambitious dad encouraging his son to face even ruthlessly brutal opponents. Nevertheless – or maybe, because of it –, the "Klemetsen father & son" team is highly successful. The two of them are given a sensational pro contract with Emanuel Stewart, a promoter from Chicago. But then Big John comes to realize that professional boxing is an explosive issue in the USA. In order to keep control over his son's training, he now takes the most selfless care of everything: finance, contracts, even the dirty laundry. Because he wants the "Golden Viking" to keep laying golden eggs. And then the title of World Champion suddenly comes within realistic reach for Ole...
