Der Riss im Regenbogen

A grandmother from Hamburg in search of her boys: for years Granny Ursel has been supporting her two drug-addict gradsons with food, warm clothes and medicine. The central station has become home to the two not quite so young men. Without their grandmother, Jens and Marcus would probably not have survived their drug-taking misery - both look back on a twenty-year drug career. They initially began by sniffing glue - today they smoke 'rocks' - as they call crack. No matter what, Ursel has always stood by her 'boys'. But now Marcus has been missing for weeks. Granny Ursel sets out to find him in the central station's endless network of underground tunnels, and meets her friend Helga, like Ursel a member of a parents' initiative for accepting drug work. A spark of hope appears in the course of the film - Granny Ursel meets her grandson Jens, who is currently in rehab in Kiel. A film without commentary.
