Köld slód

Baldur is a journalist with a daily newspaper in Reykjavik. He just messed up his last story when his mother calls him to her: her gaze is locked on the picture of a newspaper article while she tells him that the man on the picture was Baldun’s father. Baldun is speechless. All his life he has been denied the answer to the question of who his father is, and now his father has died – seemingly in a mysterious accident in the North of Iceland. In order to find out more about the man, Baldur travels to the icy industrial complex where his father worked as a security officer. In the midst of masses of snow he comes across a small group of close-knit people who obviously have something to hide. As the new security officer he begins to do research ‘undercover’ and winds up in a mysterious network full of intrigue until his own life is in danger. Björn Br. Björnsson’s realization of this crime story set in the magnificent scenery of the snow-covered highlands of Iceland is so full of suspense that it will send a freezing chill down your spine!
