Crisis Cuisine

Three days a week, Crisis Cuisine invites locals and visitors to join with people from crisis regions for a meal. On offer are a changing menu as well as facts about Afghanistan, Eritrea and the Balkans – prepared, served and organized by people undergoing migration. At Crisis Cuisine, “refugees” are the hosts and “Lübeckers” are the guests. It´s a culinary empowerment project, served up by people who are perceived to be powerless.

Crisis Cuisine is an initiative of the Nordic Film Days Lübeck, in cooperation with the Gewerbeschule - Nahrung und Gastronomie der Hansestadt Lübeck, Altstadtbad Krähenteich, supporters and migrants.
