A woman accuses her husband of sexually abusing children. The man claims that his wife is mentally ill. It is her word against his in court. Only fragments can be seen of the two. The washed-out colours of the official rooms and the dull tonality of the score create an oppressive atmosphere, under which the police officer searches for the truth.
