In cooperation with six other Nordic film festivals, we are presenting our own programme of shorts including the winners and popular favourites from all the festivals.

Norway’s Fredrikstad Animation Festival is the leading festival for animated films in the Nordic region. It has sent a Norwegian animated film to the NFL. The Tampere Film Festival (Tampereen elokuvajuhlat) is among the most important European festivals showcasing short films. We are presenting one of the films honoured in the Finnish domestic competition in 2021. The Uppsala Short Film Festival in Sweden celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. We are screening the latest winner of the national competition section. The Odense International Film Festival (OFF) is Denmark’s oldest film festival and is a qualifying festival for the short film Oscar nomination. The Reykjavik International Film Festival focusses on young talent, including a competition section for first and second films. And Lithuania’s Vilnius International Short Film Festival is one of the biggest short film festivals in the Baltic States. It has showcased domestic and international short films since 2006.
