Audio-visual installation

To accompany the retrospective “Undercover North/Northeast” of the 61st Nordische Filmtage Lübeck featuring agents and spies in Nordic and Baltic films, the installation “Nordic Agents” will be on view in the chancel area of St. Mary‘s Church.

Figures from the films “Sealed Orders”, “Orion‘s Belt”, and “The Supreme Victory” visibly awaken to new life, with specially composed film music created in cooperation with the Nordic Film and Media Composers‘ Association.

Composers Timo HIetela (Finland, including “Laugh or die”, NFL 2018), Anna Rosenkilde (Denmark), Geir Bøhren and Bent Åserud (Norway, “Orion‘s Belt”, NFL 2019) developed the “Nordic Agents” piece, and will be guests in Lübeck.
Following the 61st Nordische Filmtage Lübeck, “Nordic Agents” will be shown at the Danish Film Institute in Copenhagen.

The project “Nordic Agents” is part of the German-Danish Cultural Friendship Year 2020.
