The young detective Lauri is sent to his old hometown to investigate the murders of fundamentalist Christians. There is a good reason that he has not seen his family or the Laestadian congregation for ten years; Lauri fled the confines of the community because he is gay. Investigating at his side is his lively and very sexually adventurous colleague Sanna, whose relaxed manner Lauri finds seductive. Secretly, Lauri knows that he is far from finished with his family, the community, and his past. Is that possibly the reason why he is shying away from his life in Helsinki, the place where couple's therapy and unresolved relationship conflicts with his husband await him? The series “All the Sins” won the screenplay prize of the Nordisk Film & TV Fond 2019.
