You couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop. One long, balmy summer night, in a rowboat off an island in an archipelago, a young man kneels in front of the woman of his dreams and proposes. But the answer turns out not to be what he hoped for. Back on land, his friends try to salvage whatever can be salvaged from the situation. But that only makes the whole thing worse.
