Land art for the ear. Eirik Havnes is a musician and composer. He garners the sounds he works with from the natural world – finding them in crackling ice, rushing streams, and thundering waterfalls. Microphone in hand, he roams forests and scales pinnacles. This documentary follows him on the hunt for the original sounds and as he refines them in the studio, and gives the artist a chance to voice his views.
