Several years after his wife’s death by drowning, for which he was partially responsible, Juha, a heart surgeon, discovers a bizarre way to feel closer to his late beloved. After accidentally ending up in an S&M studio, the dominatrix Mona strangles him for the purposes of sexual gratification. He has visions of his dead wife while and, at the same time, is overcome with tremendous feelings of happiness.
