"Thomas and Klara want to provide support for their father by spending the first summer after their mother’s death with him. However, once they’re all settled into the summer house, it turns out that while it might have been a good plan, implementing is going to be difficult. Each of them has a different idea of what constitutes harmony and a sense of family. The father is fractious and seemingly not interested in their support. Unannounced, Thomas brings along his new, extroverted girlfriend, while Klara wants to use the idyllic surroundings to re-kindle things with her husband.
