Liv and Malte are wholeheartedly enjoying their romantic summer vacation on a Mediterranean island. Then the nocturnal attack by three adolescents ends in brutal sexual assault, deeply humiliating both. The assaulters get away without being recognized. This event completely throws the young teachers’ lives off their track. Two years later, Liv and Malte are still a couple in spite of their shared trauma, and they have mobilised impressive strength in overcoming it.
