They’re breaking up, Ebba announces to her friends at a New Year’s celebration. It’s a mutual decision, and Marius agrees. Shortly thereafter, they have a drunken reunion on the roof. Once again, one year later: Ebba and Marius separate and get back together. There are more moving moments in the twenty minutes of this melancholy comedy than in many a two-hour epic.
