Competition Documentaries, Norway 2016, 13 Min., norweg. OV, engl. st
A poetic cinematic tribute to Gamlingen, Stavanger’s tranquil outdoor public pool, that meant so much to its visitors. It was a place without class or age limits where people could provide rhythm to their day, let go of their worries while floating in the water, and find a sense of community. 58 years after it opened, the pool was closed in August 2015; it has since been demolished.
