A weekend among young people in Stockholm, 1958. Boys flirt with girls, or have to make do with booze. They’re all on the run from their all too cramped parental homes, whether their families are working or middle class. The boys wear Elvis-style pompadours; the girls’ hair is cut short. This film captures the beginnings of modern youth culture, in documentary images.
