Competition Documentaries, Iceland 2016, 22 Min., iceland. OV, engl. st
You find them everywhere in Iceland: little pools and outdoor hollows full of steaming hot water. Thanks to its geothermal heat, the country is rich in hot springs. It’s a tradition, maintained mostly by older people, to climb together into a warm pool every morning before sunrise. A humorous observation of a deep-seated ritual, with playful animation.
