Ivan and Kadri drive into the country to celebrate Midsummer with Kadri’s parents. It’s the first time that Ivan has been there with her, and conflicts are inevitable, for Ivan is a young Estonian of Russian descent. It’s a film about a summer’s day, love and being a stranger in one’s own land, which was inspired by director Ivan Pavljutskov’s own experiences. The female lead is played by Ursula Ratasepp (“Kertu”, NFL 2013).
