Nils Dickman is a meticulous man. All around his village in the Norwegian provinces he shovels snow so conscientiously every day that he’s voted citizen of the year. But soon the peaceful existence at which Nils works so assiduously is behind him. Due to a fatal mix-up, his son falls victim to a drug war between two competing Mafia clans. Not for a minute does Nils believe the police’s theory that his son died of a drug overdose, and he sets out himself to find those who were responsible. Doggedly and rigorously, he works his way through to the guys who ordered the murder, eliminating more and more Mafiosi along the way. Nils’s campaign causes the underworld power structure to teeter.
