Pål is a musician - a particularly sensitive one. You notice it in his songs, and it is evident in his personality. Although Pål dreams of having a large audience, he is scared to encounter it. Pål has stage fright - since his childhood. Together with his freinds Johnny and Lena he sets out to solve his problem. Not only does the audience need to be conquered, but so does Eva, the singer whom he not only admires musically ... Mårlind & Stein, the “shooting stars” amongst Swedish directors, have used the filmic means of emontional Hollywood productions to tell a bittersweet love story based on the songs of the Swedish singer/songwriter Håkan Hellström.
