“I have set my hope on Allah,” says Hassan, un underage fugitive from Afghanistan, who lives in a Norwegian refugee asylum with his brother Hussain. Both must expect to be deported back to their homeland as soon as they turn 18. There are many who share the fate of Hassan and Hussain. Director Margareth Olin has reconstructed the fates of adolescent fugutives in Norwegian shelters, has interviewed them on their situation and has sought out a victim of the state's rigid deportation policy in his Kurdish homeland. While doing so, she draws a provocative analogy to the Utøya massacre of 2011: The adolescents from the crisis areas of the Middle East are fleeing from certain death, as were the Norwegian adolescents on Utøya.
