Kask the hairdresser leads a monotonous life. When he befriends a young girl, he is accused of pedophile tendencies. The girl's mother spends all day in front of the television while her ex, a violent alcoholic, stalks both her and her daughter. The architect Maurer's marriage is disintegrating, his wife is having an affair... “Autumn Ball” is a film about various forms of loneliness. A study of the hopelessness of everyday life and the inability to establish interpersonal relationships, nevermind upholding them.
