Saulé's parents have travelled to England in search of work. In the meantime, the 15-year-old must temporarily do the housekeeping: cook, wash and make sure her little sister goes to kindergarten. An early introduction to adult life, into which Augustinas, the neighbour's boy, does not quite fit.
