"I’m in the process of learning the Sami language …" Liselotte Wajstedt has captured her experiences of doing so in three short films. "A Sami in the City" shows that not everything which city people take for granted can be named in the Sami language. But then the language course is all the more descriptive when dealing with the elementary aspects of life, as can be seen in her films "The City Sami in the Forrest" and "The Sami and Her Body".
