Ikuisesti sinun

Children require shelter, but not always are their parents in a position to meet that requirement. This is where the state steps in: A children's home is the first stop for children whose parents have died or neglected them. Many of them go on to live in foster families. "Forever Yours" portrays children and adolescents in this particular situation. The film shows the high level of loving care these children depend on - the little boy who won't sleep with the door shut, or the young adolescent who asks her biological father for permission to give up her birth name, so as to not draw attention at school to the fact that she is adopted. The film also shows the emotional shocks suffered by adults when they are separated from - or reunited with - their children. No matter whether biological or foster parents - they and their children are connected by an invisible yet indestructible bond.
