Red Gnomes in Blue Mountain – what a scandal! And it is the princess' fault – of all people. At first Bluerose, the king's daughter, was too frightened to ever leave the mountain at all. But then she learned that her father is terminally ill. The only thing that can possibly help him is something that all people believe in: money! Following this advice by the wise old men, princess Bluerose courageously leaves for the valley, where she meets the prince of the Red Gnomes. He teaches her what money actually is. When she then steals a coin from the farmer, the Red Gnomes lose their accomodation as a consequence. Bluerose grants them asylum, but then her problems really begin ... "Magic Silver" is a magical fairy tale for children that shows the little ones how even gnomes can make it big. "If you're never afraid, you can never be brave" is the cheerful message behind this successful Christmas film, which is based on a TV series. The sequel is already in production.
