Werner Sperschneider, Copenhagen-based ethnologist, is the most knowledgeable scholar of Greenlandic film history: in 1998 he already listed 437 titles in his dissertation "Der fremde Blick. Eskimos im Film". He also documented his findings for the screen – in his 60-minute compilation "100 Years of Greenland on Film". On Saturday, 7 November, at 4.45 pm, Werner Sperschneider will present his work within the framework of a lecture at CineStar 2 making use of countless film clips.
