After they have been uploaded, the videos can be viewed on the Nordic Film Days YouTube channel, linked to the festival website at www.filmtage.luebeck.de Festival guests can also print out a souvenir photo directly at the Festival-BOX, or send it to friends by e-mail. This year’s Festival-Trailer 2012 was also recorded in the box, and has been running in cinemas in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein since mid-October. The Festival-BOX is financed by the Lübeck-based enterprises Colibri, JessenLenz, Betten Struve, Das kleine KRA – Schmuck heute, sitz-art, Skanbo, Abessa Kaffee Welt and the advertising agency RESULTED, all of whom are long-standing supporters of cultural projects.
Another novelty at the 54. Nordic Film Days Lübeck is the offer directed at accredited journalists and industry professionals to view festival films as a “Video on Demand” stream. To realize this, the festival is cooperating with the Potsdam-based company FilmConfect AG (www.filmconfect.com), which offers made-to-measure entertainment to a selected audience via internet-based film portals, as well as distributing Scandinavian films via the DVD label “Nordic Watching”. Another co-operation partner is the Lübeck-based company JessenLenz (www.jessenlenz.de), a well-known high quality IT service provider.
The VoD-Bar is situated directly adjacent to festival cinema CineStar Filmpalast Stadthalle (Eiscafé San Marco, Mühlenbrücke) and is operational throughout the 54. Nordic Film Days Lübeck from 31.10. to 04.11.12.
