Film Days gain CITTI, Avis and NordwestLotto as new sponsors

Nordic Film Days Lübeck boast three new sponsors this year: The wholesale business CITTI, the car rental service Avis and NordwestLotto Schleswig-Holstein are financially backing this year's festival. "We are very pleased to have CITTI, Avis and NordwestLotto on board," says Pia Walter, responsible for sponsoring at Nordic Film Days Lübeck. "Our partners and sponsors are significant contributors to making our film festival the cultural highlight so highly valued in Lübeck." Pia Walter also announced plans for an expanded cooperation with external sponsors for the future.

The 53rd Nordic Film Days Lübeck take place from 2nd to 6th November 2011. The festival is presented by the Hanseatic City of Lübeck, its most significant partners including the Radisson Blu Senator Hotel, Possehl-Stiftung Lübeck, DONG Energy and Freundeskreis der Nordischen
Filmtage Lübeck, as well as the Land Government of Schleswig-Holstein. Functioning as an important showcase of Scandinavian, Baltic and North German films, Nordic Film Days Lübeck present c 130 feature, documentary and short film productions over the course of five days. This year's Retrospective is dedicated to Lapland and the Sami people. Last year the festival was attended by an audience of c 27,000 people.
