Festival Manager Christian Modersbach joins the team at this year's Nordic Film Days Lübeck. Modersbach (40) takes over the managing sector previously run by Angela Buske, who switched to the municipal library of Lübeck on 15th September, where she is now in the position of acting manager. Christian Modersbach has previously worked for the Berlin International Film Festival, the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival. During his time with Salzgeber & Co. Medien, he accompanied the "Delicatessen" project for the market launch of digital projection in art house cinemas. Furthermore, Modersbach also owned his own film distribution company called "Bildkraft". "We are very happy to have Modersbach with us on the team," says Christine Berg, Director-General at Nordic Film Days Lübeck. "The festival landscape is facing major challenges, such as the digitalization of projection technology. In this regard Christian Modersbach boasts perfect qualifications." His predecessor, Angela Buske, was in charge of the Nordic Film Days' general management for the past four years. "During this time the Nordic Film Days Lübeck have taken a big step forward and have developed into an internationally renowned festival event with record audiences," says Director-General Christine Berg. "We would like to thank Angela Buske for the great cooperation and her commitment to Nordic Film Days Lübeck."
