Book Presentation: More than 40 Years of Nordic Filmmaking

This year sees the Norwegian journalist Sigurd Moe Hetland visiting Nordic Film Days Lübeck for the 40th time in succession. He recorded the impressions he gained on his visits in numerous accounts and photographic series, which he will compile to a book subsequent to the 52nd Nordic Film Days. On Thursday, 4th November, at 12.30 pm, Sigurd Moe Hetland will present the concept for his book in the New York Bar at CineStar Filmpalast Stadthalle. The book presentation is closely linked with the screening of two films from the oeuvre of Norwegian film presenter, director and critic Pål Bang-Hansen, who passed away this spring. Bang-Hansen was also a loyal guest and friend of Nordic Film Days and visited many festivals in the company of Sigurd Moe Hetland. Two films from his multifaceted oeuvre will be shown on Thursday morning (4th November, 10.45am) in cinema 2 at Filmpalast Stadthalle: the short film "How I Became an Art Collector Without Really Trying" and the feature film "The Crown Prince".
