24,000 attended the 50th Nordic Film Days Lübeck

An audience of around 24,000 attended the 50^th Nordic Film Days Lübeck this year. In its anniversary year, the festival has thus reached a new record audience figure. Last year, around 20,500 viewers attended Nordic Film Days Lübeck; 2006, the figure amounted to 18,000. As the audience figures have been on a steady increase throughout the past years, the organizers had decided first on a prolongation of the festival to five days and then on an additional increase in the number of cinema screens. For the first time, the Nordic Film Days thus presented its films in two cinemas at Lübecker Filmhaus.
