Der elfjährige Petter steht allein im Badezimmer vor dem Spiegel und bereitet sich auf eine schwierige Aufgabe vor. Er muß sich bemühen, frühzeitig erwachsen zu werden. Ganz ernsthaft beginnt er, sich zu rasieren. Der Vater redet dem Jungen zu und ermuntert ihn, seine Aufgabe zu meistern.

Eleven-year-old Petter stands alone in front of the bathroom mirror and prepares to carry out a difficult job. He has to make an effort to start growing up at an early age. In all seriousness he starts to shave. His father encourages him and helps him to master the task.
