Zwei kleine Mädchen wandern in einer kriegsgebeutelten Stadt irgendwo in Europa umher. Sie suchen in einem verlassenen Haus nach Wertgegenständen. Eine Gruppe von Soldaten stoppt mit ihrem Lastwagen unmittelbar vor dem Haus. Plötzlich registriert einer der Soldaten in einem der Fenster eine Bewegung. Er zieht sein Bajonett und geht in das Haus …

Two little girls wander about in a war-torn city somewhere in Europe. They search for valuables in an abandoned house. A group of soldiers stop their truck directly in front of the house. Suddenly, one of the soldiers sees something move in the window. He pulls out his bayonet and enters the house …

Maria Sigurdardóttir, geboren 1965 in Reykjavik. 1985-89 arbeitete sie in Island als Regie- und Produktionsassistentin. Seither lebt sie in Berlin, wo sie Filmwissenschaft, Kunstgeschichte, Politologie und an der Drehbuchakademie/DFFB studierte.

Maria Sigurdardóttir, born in 1965 in Reykjavik, worked as a directing and production assistant in Iceland from 1985-1989 before moving to Berlin to study film, art history and politics at the Drehbuchakademie/DFFB.
