Der 24-jährige Kristoffer lebt mit seinen Kumpels Geir und Stig Inge in einer Osloer WG. Die drei lassen sich den Spaß an ihrem sorglosen Leben nicht nehmen und zeichnen ihre täglichen Abenteuer auf Video auf. Als Kristoffer von seiner Freundin verlassen wird und sein Videotagebuch zufällig in die Hände eines populären Fernsehsenders gerät, zeigt die lässige Fassade der drei Freunde plötzlich Risse: Geir wird mit neuen Vaterpflichten konfrontiert, Stig Inge kämpft mit einem ernsten psychischen Problem. Und Kristoffer muss sich zwischen echter Freundschaft und dem Fernsehruhm entscheiden. Der Debütfilm des 35-jährigen Morten Tylum wartet mit einer Reihe norwegischer Nachwuchsstars auf und ist ganz auf ein junges - und jung gebliebenes - Publikum zugeschnitten. Themen wie Freundschaft, Verliebtsein und Verantwortung gehen Hand in Hand mit einer frischen Bildsprache und mitreißender Popmusik. Hinter der trendy Fassade leuchtet jedoch Kritik an der heutigen Jugend auf: „Diese Generation hat Angst vorm Leben und scheut sich vor Entscheidungen. 24-year-old Kristoffer shares a flat in Oslo with his friends Geir and Stig Inge. The three of them live life to the full, and document their daily adventures on video. When Kristoffer is dumped by his girlfriend and his video diary happens to fall into the hands of a popular TV channel, the happy-go-lucky lifestyle of the three friends starts to show signs of strain: Geir is confronted with the prospect of paternity, Stig Inge has to tackle a serious psychological problem. And Kristoffer has to choose between true friendship and television fame. This debut feature film by 35-year-old Morten Tyldum starring some of Norway's finest young acting talents will appeal to a young (and young-at-heart) audience. It addresses issues such as friendship, love and responsibility, underpinned by a fresh visual approach and irresistible pop music. But behind the trendy facade is some clear criticism of the younger generation: This generation is afraid of life and afraid of making decisions. People today are so incredibly individualistic," says the director. His film has already won the audience awards at the film festivals of Haugesund and Karlovy Vary."

Morten Tyldum, Jahrgang 1967, ist einer der gefragtesten Werbefilmregisseure Norwegens. Seine Filme wurden vielfach mit Preisen bedacht. Er studierte Film an der Universität von New York. Außerdem hat er eine Reihe von Kurzfilmen gedreht. An dem Kompilationsfilm „Utopia - Nobody is Perfect in the Perfect Country war er 2002 mit der Episode „Høyre" beteiligt. Außerdem hat er den 40-minütigen Film „Fast Forward" gedreht. Sein Spielfilmdebüt „Buddy" erhielt den Publikumspreis beim Festival in Karlovy Vary und läuft mit großem Erfolg in den norwegischen Kinos. "
