Der Film „Club der noblen Dichter” ist eine Hommage an große Schriftsteller und eine spannende Reise in die von Mythen und Skandalen umwehte Geschichte des bedeutendsten aller Preise zugleich.Als erstes Filmteam der Welt durften Regisseur Wilfried Hauke und Kameramann Ivan Minov in den Tresorräumen der Schwedischen Akademie die Gutachten über die Preisanwärter einsehen.
“Noble Poets' Society” pays homage to the writers of great literature and takes the viewer on a fascinating journey into the history of the Nobel Prize with all its myths and scandals.Director Wilfried Hauke and cameraman Ivan Minov are surely the first film in the world to be given access to the sealed archives of the Swedish Academy to read the appraisals of the laureates and nominees.
Regisseur Wilfried Hauke, geboren 1957 in Kiel, studierte Germanistik, Skandinavistik und Philosophie in Kiel, Aarhus, Kopenhagen, Lund. Von ihm stammen zahlreiche Publikationen zur skandinavischen Literatur und Radiofeature zur europäischen Film-, Theater- und Literaturszene. Parallel zur Tätigkeit als Hörfunk-Autor und Moderator begann er 1994 beim Fernsehen und arbeitet seit 1997 als Filmautor, Regisseur und Filmproduzent in Kiel.
Director Wilfried Hauke, born in Kiel in 1957, read German and Scandinavian Studies and Philosophy at Kiel, Aarhus, Copenhagen and Lund. He has also written widely on Scandinavian literature and has created radio features on European film, theatre and literature. Apart from his work for radio, he moved to television in 1994 and has worked as a film author, director and producer in Kiel in 1997.
