Nordische Filmtage Lübeck
Die Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck sind das einzige deutsche Filmfestival, das sich ganz auf Filme aus dem Norden und dem Nordosten Europas spezialisiert hat. Sie werden von der Hansestadt Lübeck in Zusammenarbeit mit den Filminstituten und Filmstiftungen Dänemarks, Finnlands, Islands, Norwegens und Schwedens sowie den Filminstitutionen der baltischen Länder ausgerichtet. Schirmherren der Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck sind die Botschafter und Generalkonsuln der nordischen Länder.
 
Die Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck sind ein unabhängiges Filmfestival mit einem internationalen Wettbewerb. Sie präsentieren Spiel-, Dokumentar-, Kurz- sowie Kinder- und Jugendfilme aus Dänemark, Estland, Finnland, Island, Lettland, Litauen, Norwegen und Schweden sowie das Filmforum Schleswig-Holstein mit neuen Produktionen aus der Region.
 
Die Filme müssen in den Jahren 2001 oder 2002 fertig gestellt worden sein. Auch Filme, die auf anderen internationalen Filmfestspielen (A-Festivals) gezeigt oder ausgezeichnet wurden, können im Wettbewerb sein. Für Filme, die auf deutschen Filmfestivals gezeigt wurden, ist dies nur bedingt der Fall.
 
Die Filme werden durch die künstlerische Leitung in enger Kooperation mit den nordischen Filminstituten und -stiftungen und den entsprechenden baltischen Filminstitutionen ausgewählt. Filme können aber auch direkt angemeldet werden. Anmeldeformulare können beim Festival angefordert werden. Einreichtermin: 17. August 2002.
 

Nordic Film Days Lübeck
The Nordic Film Days Lübeck are the only German film festival devoted entirely to the cinema of north and north-eastern Europe. The festival is organised by the Hanseatic city of Lübeck in cooperation with the film institutes and foundations of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden and the corresponding film institutions of the Baltic States. Patrons of the Nordic Film Days Lübeck are the Nordic ambassadors and consuls.
 
The Nordic Film Days are an independent film festival with an international competition. The festival presents feature films, documentaries, short films and children's and youth films of high quality from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden as well as German films in the Filmforum Schleswig-Holstein, a survey of the latest film production in and around the region.
 
Films must have been completed in 2001 or 2002. Films which have been shown or received awards at other international film festivals (A-festivals) are eligible to compete. Limitations apply to films shown at national German festivals.
 
Films are selected by the Artistic Direction in cooperation with the Nordic film institutes and corresponding Baltic associations. Films can also be submitted directly to the festival. Entry forms are available through the office of the Nordic Film Days. Submission deadline is august 17, 2002.
 

Filmforum Schleswig-Holstein
Das Filmforum Schleswig-Holstein zeigt einen Überblick über das aktuelle Filmschaffen im und über das nördlichste Bundesland Deutschlands. Veranstaltet wird es im Rahmen der Nordischen Filmtage von der Hansestadt Lübeck, mit Unterstützung der Ministerin für Bildung, Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur des Landes. Die Programmauswahl erfolgt durch die Künstlerische Leitung der Nordischen Filmtage.
 
Teilnahmeberechtigt sind alle Filmemacherinnen und Filmemacher, die in Schleswig-Holstein leben oder zumindest hier geboren sind. Darüber hinaus können Spiel-, Dokumentar-, Kurz- und Animationsfilme eingereicht werden, die einen thematischen Bezug zu Schleswig-Holstein haben bzw. hier gefördert oder realisiert wurden.
 
Eine Beschränkung auf bestimmte Genres oder Filmlängen gibt es nicht. Zulässig sind die gängigen Filmformate 35mm und 16mm und die Videoformate Betacam SP und S-VHS. Entsprechende Umkopierungen sind Sache der Produzent/in.
 
Filmanmeldungen und Sichtungskassetten (VHS oder S-VHS) müssen bis zum 06. September 2002 eingereicht werden. Das Anmeldeformular kann beim Filmforum direkt angefordert werden oder als Datei heruntergeladen werden.
 

Filmforum Schleswig-Holstein
The Filmforum Schleswig-Holstein shows a survey of the current film production from and about the northernmost state in Germany. It is organised within the framework of the Nordic Film Days Lübeck with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Culture of Schleswig-Holstein. The Filmforum is programmed by the Artistic Direction of the Nordic Film Days.
 
All filmmakers who live in Schleswig-Holstein or at least were born here are eligible to participate. In addition, any feature, documentary, short or animation film that relates in some way to Schleswig-Holstein or was supported or shot here can be submitted.
 
There are no limitations as to genre or length of the film. Films in the usual formats of 35mm and 16mm as well as Betacam SP and S-VHS videos are eligible. Transfers to these formats are the concern of the producer.
 
Entry forms and viewing cassettes (VHS or S-VHS) must be submitted by September 6th 2002. The entry forms can be ordered directly from the Filmforum or downloaded as a file from this website.
