Inhalt/ Summary
Disneys „hässliches
Entlein“ ist wohl der berühmtestste aller
frühen Andersen-Filme. Walt Disney hatte das
Märchen bereits als Vorlage für einen seiner
ersten Zeichentrick-Tonfilme der Serie „Silly
Symphonies“ benutzt, damals allerdings noch in
Schwarzweiß. Seit 60 Jahren ist „Das
hässliche Entlein“ nahezu ohne Unterbrechung im
Verleih.
Disney’s “Ugly
Duckling” is probably the most famous of all early
Andersen films. Walt Disney had already used this
fairy-tale as the basis for one of his first cartoon sound
films in the series “Silly Symphonies”, although
at that time it was made in black and white. “The Ugly
Duckling” has been in distribution, almost without
interruption, for sixty years.
Regisseur Jack Cutting war einer
der engsten Mitarbeiter Walt Disneys und seit der
Gründung des Disney-Studios eng mit ihm verbunden.
Bekannt wurde er durch die Oscar-Auszeichnung für
„Das hässliche Entlein“. Im Studio war er
vor allem Spezialist für den Ton und die
Überwachung der zahlreichen Synchronisationen.
Director Jack Cutting was one of
Walt Disney’s closest colleagues, and was closely
connected with the Disney studios from the start. He made a
name for himself when the “Ugly Duckling” was
nominated for an Oscar. In the studio he specialized
primarily in sound and in monitoring the numerous
synchronisations.
