Inhalt/ Summary

Tsatsiki ist ein achtjähriger Junge, der bei seiner Mutter Tina lebt. Er ist seinem Vater, einen griechischen Tintenfischfischer, nie begegnet, Der Vater weiß nicht einmal, dass er einen Sohn hat. Tsatsiki träumt davon, nach Griechenland zu gehen und seinen Vater zu sehen – seine Mutter Tina träumt davon, ein Rockstar mit ihrer Band zu werden. Sie vermietet ein Zimmer an Göran, einen Polizisten, der sich nach Liebe sehnt und gern tanzt. Göran und Tsatsiki werden Freunde. Tsatsikis bester Schulfreund ist Per – und der ist in Maria verliebt, die nichts davon weiß. Am Ende der Geschichte werden alle Träume wahr, aber auf eine ganz andere Art und Weise, als die Beteiligten geglaubt haben.

Tsatsiki is an eight-year-old boy who lives with his mother, Tina. He has never met his father, a Greek octopus fisherman, who does not even know that he has a son. Tsatsiki dreams of going to Greece and visiting his father – his mother Tina dreams of becoming a rock star together with her band. She lets a room to Göran, a policeman, who longs for love and enjoys dancing. Göran and Tsatsiki become friends. Tsatsiki’s best friend at school is called Per – and he is in love with Maria, athough she is not at all aware of it. At the end of the story, all their dreams come true – but in a completely different way to what they had all expected. A family film about dreams and reality.

Regisseurin Ella Lemhagen, Jahrgang 1965, drehte ihren ersten professionellen Kurzfilm 1986. Nach Studium an der Filmschule des Dramatiska Institutet verwirklichte sie mehrere Kurzfilme. „Tsatsiki“ ist ihr dritter Spielfilm.

Director Ella Lemhagen, born in 1965, made her first professional short film in 1986. After studying at the film school of the Dramatiska Institutet, she realised several short films. “Tsatsiki” is her third feature film.
