Lithographien von Armin Mueller-Stahl / Lithographs based on "Night on Earth" Anlässlich des 75. Geburtstages des Schauspielers Armin Mueller-Stahl im Dezember werden bei den Nordischen Filmtagen nicht nur Highlights aus seinem filmischen Schaffen zu sehen sein. Der Weltstar, der auch in Hollywood große Erfolge gefeiert hat, ist seit vielen Jahren erfolgreicher Schriftsteller und nicht zuletzt auch Maler und Zeichner. Inspiriert von seiner Rolle des Taxifahrers Helmut im Kultfilm "Night on Earth" von Jim Jarmusch, hat Mueller-Stahl zu dem Film eine Serie von Lithographien geschaffen, die gerade in Los Angeles ausgestellt waren. Bei den Nordischen Filmtagen Lübeck werden sie vom Kunsthaus Lübeck im CineStar Filmpalast Stadthalle präsentiert. On the occasion of the 75th birthday of the actor Armin Mueller-Stahl in December the Nordic Film Days Lübeck will not only show highlights from his work as an actor. For many years the world-famous star, who has worked both in Europe and Hollywood, has also been active as a writer, painter and draughtsman. Filmhistorische Einführung zur Max-Hansen-Dokumentation / Film Historical Introduction to the Max Hansen Documentary Am Sonntag, den 6. November um 10.30 Uhr im CineStar Kino 5, können die 47. Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck ihrem Publikum eine besondere Veranstaltung anbieten: Die bemerkenswerte Dokumentation "War'n Sie schon mal in mich verliebt?" von Douglas Wolfsperger wird mit einer Einführung des Filmhistorikers Olaf Brill vorgeführt. Der Film zeigt die Lebensgeschichte des Sängers und Schauspielers Max Hansen, der als Kabarettist Hitler verspottete, vor den Nazis fliehen musste und sich in Skandinavien eine neue Existenz aufbaute. Olaf Brill, als Filmhistoriker auf die Filmproduktion der Weimarer Republik spezialisiert, arbeitet für CineGraph - Hamburgisches Centrum für Filmforschung sowie für das Deutsche Filminstitut in Frankfurt. Er ist Redakteur bei www.filmportal.de und betreibt außerdem die Homepage www.filmhistoriker.de. Seine Dissertation schrieb Brill über den Klassiker "Das Cabinet des Dr.Caligari". November 2005 in Hamburg stattfindet und unter dem Titel "FilmEuropa - Babylon" Mehrsprachenversionen der 1930er Jahre in Europa zeigt. On Sunday, 6 November at 10.30 am in CineStar Kino 5, the 47th Nordic Film Days Lübeck presents a very special event: the remarkable documentary "Did You Ever Fall in Love With Me?" by Douglas Wolfsperger with an introductory talk by film historian Olaf Brill. The film tells of the life of singer and actor Max Hansen, a cabaret artist who ridiculed Hitler, fled from the Nazis and made a new life for himself in Scandinavia. The film is presented in collaboration with CineFest - 2nd International Festival of German Film Heritage, which will be showing multilanguage version of 1930s European films under the title "FilmEuropa - Babylon". 10 Jahre Kirchlicher Filmpreis Interfilm / 10 Years of Interfilm Church Prize Die internationale kirchliche Filmorganisation Interfilm wurde 1955 in Paris gegründet. Sie verbindet interessierte Einzelpersonen und Institutionen, die im Bereich von Film und Theologie bzw. Kirche und Kino tätig sind, und ist auf verschiedenen internationalen Festivals mit Jurys vertreten. Neben dem 50-jährigen Jubiläum kann Interfilm in Lübeck ein zehnjähriges Jubiläum feiern. 1996 wurde bei den Nordischen Filmtagen Lübeck zum ersten Mal der Kirchliche Filmpreis Interfilm vergeben: Der erste Preisträger war ein Film, der schon heute zu den größten Klassikern nicht nur des skandinavischen, sondern auch des internationalen Kinos gehört: Lars von Triers "Breaking the Waves". Aus Anlass des zehnjährigen Kirchenpreis-Jubiläums zeigen wir noch einmal dieses anrührende und komplexe Melodram über bedingungslose Liebe, Opfer und Erlösung im "Special"-Programm. An association of individuals and institutions involved in the field of film and theology, or church and cinema, it has juries at a number of international festivals. At Lübeck, Interfilm not only celebrates its 50th jubilee, but also the 10th anniversary of the Interfilm Church Prize, which was first awarded at the 1996 Nordic Film Days. The first film to receive this award has come to be regarded as one of the greatest classics of Scandinavian and international cinema: Lars von Trier's "Breaking the Waves". To mark ten years of the Interfilm Church Prize, we are screening this deeply affecting and complex melodrama of unconditional love, sacrifice and redemption in our "Special" programme. Kuratoriumssitzung des KJF in Lübeck / Board Meeting of KJF in Lübeck Erstmals findet eine Kuratoriumssitzung des Kinder- und Jugendfilmzentrums in Deutschland im Rahmen der Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck statt. Das Kuratorium, dem Vertreterinnen und Vertreter aus Bund und Ländern, Hochschulen sowie Verbänden angehören, hat die Fachaufsicht über das 1977 gegründete nationale Zentrum, das im Auftrag und mit Förderung des Bundesministeriums für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend bundesweite Projekte und Aktionen in den Bereichen Film, Fotografie, Video und Multimedia veranstaltet. Seit 1988 unterstützt das KJF die Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck durch die Förderung von Werkschauen oder Retrospektiven im Kinder- und Jugendbereich, die andere Veranstalter zum Nachspiel anregen sollen. In diesem Jahr ist es eine Schau norwegischer Jugendfilme unter dem Titel "Jung in Norwegen". For the first time, the Children's and Youth Film Centre in Germany (KJF) is holding a board meeting at the Nordic Film Days Lübeck. The committee, made up of representatives of regional and national government, universities and institutions, is a supervisory body in charge of the KJF, which was founded in 1977 and organises nationwide projects and events in the field of film, photography, video and multimedia, funded by the Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. Since 1988 the KJF has supported the Nordic Film Days Lübeck by funding thematic and retrospective programmes of children's and youth films with the aim of encouraging other event organisers to follow suit. This year's programme presents Norwegian youth films under the motto "Young in Norway". Oper "Schattenspiele" / Opera after H.C. Andersen Am 2. November 2005, am Vorabend der 47. Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck, findet um 19.30 Uhr im Theater Lübeck, Beckergrube 16, die Premiere von "Schattenspiele" statt. Diese Kammeroper für Jugendliche und Erwachsene von Hans Gefors (Libretto von Maria Sundqvist) ist eine Koproduktion mit Malmö Opera och Musikteater. Als Grundlage dient das 1847 geschriebene Märchen des dänischen Dichters Hans Christian Andersen, dessen Geburtstag sich 2005 zum 200. Mal jährt. In der Oper wird daraus ein psychologischer Thriller, der von der Umkehr von Herrschaftsverhältnissen erzählt, von verhängnisvollen Abhängigkeiten und davon, wie Böses, wenn man es unterdrückt, rächend zurückkehrt. November 2005 um 20 Uhr im Buddenbrookhaus, Mengstraße 4, in der Reihe "Debüt im Buddenbrookhaus" seinen ersten Roman "NVA" vorstellen. Damit bewirbt er sich um den Debütpreis des Buddenbrookhauses, der im Jahr 2007 vergeben wird. Leander Haußmann zählt zu Deutschlands interessantesten Regisseuren. Seine Filme "Sonnenallee" (1999) und "Herr Lehmann" (2003) waren große Publikumserfolge und wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet. Sein Film "NVA" ist am 29. September in den deutschen Kinos gestartet.
