Grußworte der Ministerpräsidentin des Landes Schleswig-Holstein
 
Zu den diesjährigen 45. Nordischen Filmtagen Lübeck heiße ich Sie herzlich willkommen. Nicht nur Schleswig-Holstein blickt in diesen Tagen auf Lübeck. Hier trifft sich der gesamte Norden Europas. Wie das Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival so sind auch die Nordischen Filmtage ein kulturelles Highlight und eine Visitenkarte für das Land.
Charakteristisch für die Nordischen Filmtage ist die Begegnung mit den Künstlerinnen und Künstlern, mit den Filmemacherinnen und Filmemachern, mit den Produzentinnen und Produzenten, die, jede und jeder für sich, eine ganz eigene filmische Perspektive und Weltsicht gefunden haben.
Die Zusammenarbeit der Filmschaffenden macht Lübeck nicht nur zum Stelldichein der Filmfreunde und Fans, das Rahmenprogramm mit Seminaren und Workshops gibt dem Film- und Medienereignis erst recht Gewicht. Diesmal wird die Bedeutung von Produzenten und europäischen Koproduktionen im Mittelpunkt der Gespräche und Begegnungen stehen.
Eine weitere Neuerung ist die Kooperation mit dem Festival des osteuropäischen Films in Cottbus. Auch der Norddeutsche Rundfunk ist als Medienpartner und Hauptpreisstifter mit aktuellen Fernsehproduktionen vertreten.
Allen Beteiligten danke ich für ihr großes Engagement. Ich wünsche den Besucherinnen und Besuchern ein spannendes und intensives Kino- und Festivalerlebnis. Den Veranstaltern, Programmmachern und der gastgebenden Hansestadt Lübeck wünsche ich volle Kinos, viel Anerkennung und allen Besucherinnen und Besuchern interessante Begegnungen und Erlebnisse.

A Word of Welcome from the Minister-President of Schleswig-Holstein
 
A warm welcome to this year's 45th Nordic Film Days Lübeck. Not only Schleswig-Holstein is looking to Lübeck right now. All of Northern Europe is gathered here. The Nordic Film Days, like the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, are a cultural highlight and a showcase for the region.
A typical trait of the Nordic Film Days is the encounter between artists, filmmakers and producers, all of whom have their very own highly distinctive views on film and on the world.
Through collaboration with the filmmakers, Lübeck has become a meeting place for film-lovers and fans, with a fringe programme of seminars and workshops to make it a truly substantial all-round film and media event. This time, the importance of producers and European co-production will be the focus of the talks and meetings.
Another innovation is the festival's cooperation with the Festival of Eastern European Films in Cottbus. The broadcaster Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) is also represented as media partner and main prize awarder, broadcasting the latest television productions.
I wish to thank everyone involved for their commitment and support. I hope that all the visitors to the festival will enjoy an exciting and intense film and festival period. I wish the organisers, programme compilers and hospitality providers in the Hanseatic City of Lübeck every success with full cinemas and due recognition. And I wish all our visitors memorable encounters and experiences.
