Inhalt/ Summary

Der Film ist der dritte Teil der "Kohlkopf-Trilogie", in deren Mittelpunkt der dumme und eigennützige Bauer Samuel und sein treuer Freund, das rosa Schweinchen, stehen. Die beiden geraten über ihren Computer zufällig ins Internet. Samuel hat die Bedeutung von Informationen in der heutigen Gesellschaft begriffen - und beginnt dementsprechend zu handeln: Er raubt E-mails, erpresst Bits und Bytes und öffnet mit Hilfe des rosa Schweinchens die Homepage des Pentagons. Samuel wird der gefährlichste Computervirus der Welt.

The third part of the "Cabbagehead Trilogy" starring the stupid, selfish peasant Samuel and his faithful friend the pink piglet. The two of them stumble into the worldwide web on the computer. Samuel realises the importance of information in today's society and takes his chance. He steals e-mails, blackmails with bits and bytes, and ends up on the Pentagon website with the aid of the pink piglet. Samuel becomes the world's most dangerous computer virus.

Regisseur Riho Unt, Jahrgang 1956, studierte 1977 bis 1979 an der Pädagogischen Universität Tallinn und im Anschluss bis 1982 am Estonian State Institute of Arts in Tallinn. Seit 1983 hat er zahlreiche Animationsfilme gedreht, die mehrfach ausgezeichnet wurden, so beim Kurzfilmfestival in Tampere, beim Kiew Film Festival, beim St. Petersburg Film Festival und beim Los Angeles International Animation Film Festival. Sein jüngster Film "Samuels Internet" erhielt den ersten Preis für Animationsfilm beim Riga International Film Festival 2000 sowie im selben Jahr beim Film Fest in Venedig in der Sektion "New Territories".

Director Riho Unt, born1956, studied from 1977 to 1979 at the Teacher Training University of Tallinn and then until 1982 at the Estonian State Institute of Arts in Tallinn. Since 1983 he has made a number of animated films which have received many awards, as at the Tampere short film festival, the Kiev Film Festival, the St. Petersburg Film Festival and the Los Angeles International Animation Film Festival. His latest film "Samuels Internet" was awarded first prize for animated film at the Riga International Film Festival 2000 and in the "New Territories" section of the Venice Film Festival in the same year.
