Inhalt/ Summary
Ein Porträt des Lebens-Künstlers Alfio Bonanno, der auf Sizilien geboren wurde, seit rund 30 Jahren auf Langeland in Dänemark lebt und seine Kunstform „Land Art“ pflegt. Der Film zeigt die Vielseitigkeit Bonannos, geht auf seine zahlreichen Projekte und Kunstwerke ein, in die seine Gedanken, Träume und Visionen einfließen. Regisseur Lars Reinholdt Jensen reist mit Bonanno zurück an dessen Geburtsort zu Füßen des Vulkans Etna. Dort ist eine ganz andere Welt des Lichts, der Stimmung und des Gefühls verglichen mit Rudkøbing auf Langeland, wo Alfio Bonanno nun bereits so lange zu Hause ist.
A portrait of land artist Alfio Bonanno. Born in Sicily, he has been living and working on the Danish island of Langeland for thirty years. The film shows Bonanno’s versatility and the many-faceted projects and works of art that spring from his ideas, dreams and visions. Director Lars Reinholdt Jensen joins Bonanno on a journey to his native village in the shadow of Etna, where the mood, the atmosphere and the light are so very different from his chosen home in Rudkobing on Langeland.
