Skouens Lieblingsfilme

Auf besonderen Wunsch von Arne Skouen werden zwei neue Filme in seiner Werkschau gezeigt, die zwei im Katalog abgedruckte Filme ersetzen. Am Samstag 6.11. um 9.45 Uhr wird statt Notlandung der spannende Film Es brennt heut’ Nacht! (1954/55) gezeigt. Es geht um einen Pyromanen, der sich in die Frau verliebt, die als Sozialarbeiterin versucht, ihn von der Sucht, Feuer zu legen, abzubringen. Anstelle von Der Bus läuft am Sonntag 7.11. um 15.45 Uhr der Spielfilm Der Herr und sein Diener von 1959. Hier geht es um einen fanatischen Theologen, der versucht, die Ordination eines neuen Bischofs zu torpedieren.

By special request of the master himself two new Arne Skouen films will be shown in his film survey, taking the place of two other films announced in the catalogue. On Saturday, 6.11., at 9.45 hrs The Flame (1954/55) will be screened in place of Emergency Landing. This exciting film is about a pyromaniac who falls in love with a social worker; she, however, is only trying to help him get over his urge to set fires. Taking the place of The Bus is a drama from 1959, The Master and his Servant, screening on Sunday, 7.11., at 15.45 hrs.
