„Es ist schlimm, wenn man das, was man liebt, nicht mehr wiedersehen kann..." – eine junge Frau trauert um Bunny, ihren Wellensittich. Auf dem Tierfriedhof in Timmaspe hat sie ihm ein Grab gekauft, und dort kann man sie nahezu jeden zweiten Tag treffen. Der gepflegte Zustand der Anlage gibt Zeugnis davon, daß sie nicht die einzige ist, deren Liebe weit über den Tod des Haustieres hinausgeht. In dem Film erzählen drei unterschiedliche Menschen vom Verlust ihres tierischen Lebensgefährten. Gemeinsam ist ihnen nur, daß sie ihrem Tier einen so hohen Stellenwert einräumten, es auf einem Tierfriedhof begraben zu lassen. In ihren Erzählungen über Tierliebe geben sie Einblick in ihr Leben und beschreiben in einfachen Worten die Leere, die durch den Verlust des Tieres entstanden ist.
"It's terrible when you know you can never see the thing that you love again..." A young woman mourns Bunny, her pet budgie. She's bought a grave for him at the pet cemetery in Timmaspe, and you can find her there nearly every other day. The cemetery's well-tended appearance is a sign that she's not the only person whose love endures far beyond a pet's death. In this film, three different people tell the stories of the losses of their animal companions. All that they have in common is that their pets were important enough to them that they decided to bury them in a cemetery. Their stories about their love for their animals reveal much about their own lives, as well as describing in simple words the void left by the death of a pet.
