Die Fischer Rolf und Terje Simmenes sitzen 23 Meter hoch über dem Fjord auf einem Gerüst. Sie warten darauf, daß Lachse in ihr Netz schwimmen. Die ganze Saison über leben die beiden in einer einfachen Hütte auf dem Gerüst – und träumen vom Fang ihres Lebens. Ein Film über die Lachsfischerei und das alltägliche Leben auf einem Gerüst. Øyvind Sandberg hat seit 1976 für eine ganze Reihe von Dokumentarfilmen das Drehbuch geschrieben, hinter der Kamera gestanden oder auch Regie geführt.
Fishermen Rolf and Terje Simmenes sit 23 metres above the fjord on a platform. They wait for the salmon to swim into their nets. During the entire fishing season, the two men live in a primitive hut on the platform – and dream of the catch of their lives. A film about salmon fishing and daily life on the platform. Since 1976 Øyvind Sandberg has written the text for, photographed or directed a great many documentaries.
