„Hecho a Mano!“ nennen sieben finnische Frauen ihr Flamenco-Ensemble, das einzigartig auf der Welt sein dürfte: Alle Tänzerinnen sind auf einen Rollstuhl angewiesen. Ihre Freude am Tanz beeinträchtigt das allerdings keineswegs.

“Hecho a Mano!” is the name of a Finnish Flamenco ensemble that is very probably the only one of its kind in the world: all the women are wheelchair users. But that won’t stop them dancing.

Regisseur Ilkka Hannula arbeitet seit mehr als 20 Jahren für das finnische Fernsehen YLE und ist für seine zahlreichen Reportagen und Dokumentationen – u.a. über die Nordsee, die Philippinen, Thailand und China – vielfach ausgezeichnet worden.

Director Ilkka Hannula has worked for Finnish broadcasting company YLE for more than 20 years and has won many awards for his reports and documentaries about the North Sea, the Philippines, Thailand and China and other places.
