Der Norden zu Gast in Lübeck
 
Ein stimmiger Slogan seit Jahrzehnten. Die Ostsee verbindet nicht nur Menschen und Länder, sondern auch Künstlerinnen und Künstler, Filmemacherinnen und Filmemacher, Regisseurinnen und Regisseure sowie Verleiherinnen und Verleiher. Ich heiße alle herzlich in Lübeck willkommen und hoffe, dass von Lübeck und seinen Nordischen Filmtagen erneut zahlreiche Impulse für die europäische Filmszene ausgehen werden. Das neue, große Europa spiegelt sich erfreulicherweise in den Gästen der diesjährigen Filmfestivals wider. Es werden ereignisreiche, spannungsvolle Tage werden. Lübeck freut sich auf Bewegung und Begegnung.

It has been a rallying call for decades. The Baltic links not only people and nations, but also artists, filmmakers, directors and distributors. I warmly welcome you all to Lübeck and hope that once again the Nordic Film Days will provide a wealth of inspiration for the European film scene. We are delighted to see the new and expanded Europe mirrored in the programme of this year’s festival, ensuring that the days to come will be eventful and stimulating. Lübeck looks forward to a festival of innovation and encounter.
