NDR-Förderpreis - Begründung der Jury

Anläßlich der 46. Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck 2004 vergibt die Jury den mit 12.500 EUR dotierten NDR-Förderpreis an:
 
Illusive Tracks / Skenbart
 
Der mit 12.500 € dotierte NDR-Förderpreis wird an den schwedischen Film „Illusive Tracks“ von Peter Dalle verliehen. Die Entscheidung der Jury war einstimmig und lautet wie folgt: Diese frivole schwarze Komödie ist nicht notwendigerweise das, was sie zu sein scheint. Sie scheint historisierend, sie ist modern. Sie scheint zynisch und ist human. Sie scheint brachial und ist sensibel. Sie bricht keine Tabus, sie spielt mit ihnen. Ein hervorragendes Buch bildet die Grundlage für eine außergewöhnlich gute Besetzung und eine vorzügliche Inszenierung.

NDR Promotion Prize - Statement of the Jury

On the occasion of the 46th Nordic Film Days Lübeck 2004 the Jury awards the NDR Promotion Prize amounting to 12,500 EUR to:
 
Illusive Tracks / Skenbart
 
for the following reason:
 
The NDR Promotion Prize, endowed with 12,500 Euros, goes to the Swedish film Illusive Tracks by Peter Dalle. The decision of the jury was unanimous and reads as follows: This frivolous black comedy is not necessarily what it seems to be. It seems to deal in past history, but is modern. It seems to be cynical, but is humane. It seems to be brutal, but is sensitive. It does not break taboos, but plays with them. An excellent screenplay forms the basis for an exceptionally good cast and outstanding directing.
