Lübeck lädt ein

zum großen Familientreffen des nordischen Films. Wer in den Filmen der letzten Jahre mitverfolgt hat, wie intensiv in den Familien miteinander gerungen, aber auch gefeiert wird, der wird dies als Kompliment verstehen. Und so erwarten wir wieder rund 800 Branchen- und Pressevertreter zu umfangreichen Filmsichtungen, intensiven Gesprächen und fröhlichem Beisammensein. Alles für Norwegen zeigt die Retrospektive des Festivals zum 100. Geburtstag des Landes. Aber auch die neuen Produktionen und die der Nachbarn zeigen, dass der Norden weit mehr ist als Frozen Land und dass man sich im Kino durchaus Wie im Himmel fühlen kann. Mag es auch auf der Leinwand mitunter frostig zugehen, so können wir uns aufheizen beim filmFEST, das wir am Samstagabend in der Musik- und Kongresshalle feiern. Und, wer weiß, vielleicht finden wir ja Freunde fürs Leben!

Lübeck invites you

to a big family reunion of Nordic film. Anyone familiar with the intensive family confrontations, but also the celebrations in the films of the past few years will jump at the occasion. And so we are again expecting around 800 representatives of industry and press to join us at the extensive screenings, intensive conversations and pleasant social get-togethers. It’s hardly possible to get Too Much Norway at the festival’s retrospective on the country’s 100th birthday. But the new productions and those of the Next Door neighbours show that the North is much more than a Frozen Land and that in the cinema you can feel very much As It Is in Heaven. But even if it happens to be a bit frosty on the big screen, we can warm up at the filmFEST which we will be celebrating on Saturday in the MuK. And who knows, maybe we’ll even end up Finding Friends!
